    An Internet entrepreneur since before the Web was born (circa 1993), back then we developed commercial sites on Compuserve, Prodigy and AOL. While living in Boca Raton, Florida a colleague working at IBM Research, introduced me to the Mosaic browser (aka Netscape), we were among the first to surf the Web. Ever since, I have been passionately involved in website design and development. Born in Lions Gate Hospital (North Vancouver), grew-up in Kelowna, British Columbia, my career began with the World Wide Web. Based in South Florida for 12 years, travelling to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Costa Rica and South America, migrating to Sao Paulo Brazil in 2004, then returning to Canada in 2015. President of Lions Gate Digital and editor of Invest Offshore, residing in Vancouver. Living the life I love, and loving the life I live.

    Shortly after Ann started her WordPress blog as a non-techy mom, it garnered a million views and 35K followers.  This positive feedback encouraged her to turn her ‘loving yourself’ blog posts into a book about loving yourself.  Writing a novel came next and then creating a digital novel writing course to teach others how to write a fiction book. She is currently writing her memoir, and teaching a memoir writing group, but It all BEGAN with a WordPress blog.

    Barry owns and operates Majaid Web Solutions, a professional WordPress/WooCommerce development, integration and troubleshooting company. He loves working on problems that are outside of the typical WordPress installation. Sometimes, the solution is easy to implement and other times he must write custom code to get the exact functionality required.     Ben is a seasoned website security analyst and researcher hailing from Victoria, BC. He has a decade of industry experience remediating hacked websites and dealing with website malware. He’s passionate about security and eager to use his experience to help guide everyday website owners to improve their security posture and keep hackers at bay. He is a frequent contributor to the Sucuri blog, helped author multiple annual threat reports on website security, and his research has been cited by Bleeping Computer, ProofPoint, MalwareBytes, Sophos, and others. He pays special attention to eCommerce security and online #MageCart credit card theft, especially in WooCommerce environments.

    Born and raised in Nepal, Bibek Sapkota is a information technology graduate and a tech enthusiast. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computing from London Metropolitan University, and has worked as an IT professional, an educator, a facilitator, and in managerial roles in his career so far. He is Chief Business Officer at Aarambha IT Research Center. Bibek has played an active role in expanding the WordPress community and making WordPress more accessible across Nepal.
